So I suppose my inspiration came from watching "Julie & Julia" today, but I thought that since I am on Christmas break from school this would be a good way for me to kill some time :) Today I made a red velvet cake. So far, so good. It has not been iced yet. My wonderful best friend Anna and her husband Chris are coming to be my guinea pigs.
I never thought I would see the day that I would start a blog. They seem pointless, I mean who cares about what I have to say? Ha..but then I figured...it's not for anyone else. I want to do this for me. I want to be able to express my thoughts and feelings or just tell "someone" about what I am up to!
I have plans to watch Christmas movies for the rest of the day after I am done watching "Julie & Julia" and finish my cake :) This time of the year is my absolute favorite. I am happier and I just want to help someone around me...which I am currently working on!
For today I think that is all....not too much is on my mind.
