I wanted to share some of my favorite quotes...these quotes are special to me because they are all quotes of people who I admire and look up to as idols.
“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”
-Audrey Hepburn (Won't be the last time you see her on this list)
“Your heart just breaks, that's all. But you can't judge, or point fingers. You just have to be lucky enough to find someone who appreciates you.”
-Audrey Hepburn
“There are two kinds of women: those who want power in the world, and those who want power in bed”
-Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis
“They say it is better to be poor and happy than rich and miserable, but how about a compromise like moderately rich and just moody?”
-Princess Diana
"A woman is like a tea bag- you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water."
-Eleanor Roosevelt
"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself, any direction you choose."
-Dr. Seuss(yep he's here a few times too...)
"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."
-Dr. Seuss
"So the writer who breeds more words than he needs, is making a chore for the reader who reads."
-Dr. Seuss
"And will you succeed? Yes indeed, yes indeed! Ninety-eight and three-quarters percent guaranteed."
-Dr. Seuss
And to end the list I'm going back to one of my originals...5 things I am thankful for (besides the obvious):
1. Meinhardt Vineyards Nero Mora wine
2. My roommates/3 of my best friends- they are the best
3. My roommates' boyfriends (mine included)- for always keeping things interesting..always keeping us laughing
4. Cold spells at the end of April-hello this means nice weather for a few days!
5. School almost being over :)
Thoughts, events, and random mishaps that do not fully describe me....but they help :)

Guilty Pleasures
I have discovered that I have a lengthy list of guilty pleasures that dooms over me quite often. Here's just a few in no particular order:
1) A trashy romance novel
2) Ice cream- I can't buy it because it would be more of a habit than a pleasure
3) Paris Hilton's My New BFF
4) NOT dressing up for class
5) 16 and Pregnant
6) Gossip- oh don't you dare look down your nose at me....we ALL do it
7) Horrible fashion trends that I would never wear
8) Keeping stuff-I have found that I keep way too much CRAP all the time in my room. I have gotten a lot better about throwing stuff away too though :)
9) Grilled cheese sandwich and chicken noodle soup
10) The Disney Channel
11) (recently) Making lists- even if I don't complete them I think it helps me keep my thoughts together in my mind
12) Being on the phone- I hate having a phone but I can't get away from it
13) Dairylane food!!! I can't get away from it...I mean I'm always away from it but I miss it!!!

I wanna be...FOREVER YOUNG!
I knew it....I just KNEW I would get out of the habit of blogging. In my defense I have to blog for one of my classes on another dreadful website...so I tend to forget about this one although I like this website much better. I am currently watching one of my favorite TV shows...Food Network's "Unwrapped". I am a food junkie...no pun intended. I love watching the Food Network and especially "Unwrapped".
So on another note...my life for the next month and a half is going to be CRAZY busy and I am actually excited about it because it is mostly all dun stuff (of course with the exception of school).
This weekend- Crawfish Festival in Woodbine, GA-- a weekend full of crawfish, boating, sun, and good times
Next Monday- Employee party trip on the bus to Savannah
Next weekend- TIM MCGRAW CONCERT!!! :) and.....Christy' and Trays wedding shower Saturday night.
First full week of May=Finals (Okay this part kind of sucks but at least the semester is over)
Week after Finals=Week OFF! --but not really because we are doing Christy's bachelorette party, a HUGE employee party at the lake, and I need to go see my family!
Once school starts back for summer A-term on May 17, things calm down a little bit until....
June 4- Day before Christy and Tray's wedding--this wedding is going to be a blast and I am so glad to be a part of the bridal party :)
June 5=Wedding Day
Then its back to summer school until June 16th--then smooth sailing for the rest of the summer...freedom!!

Been a while....
I have fallen off of my pledge to myself to post at least once a week. Well I guess that is just life getting in the way! I love this time of the year. I feel like people are happier and prettier. This weather just puts people in amazing moods, myself included. I had a job working with the Traditions Council at school. I have decided to part ways with this job because it was not the right timing and the amount of hours required for the organization was just too much for me to handle. I am happy with my decision but sad because I am letting go of a huge part of my life.
On another note...I ran across a re-tweet containing some very useful information that I wanted to share: 10 tricks for getting inspired to write.
1. Look at magazine covers.
2. Browse openings
3. Read your favorite author
4. Retype passages from those favorite authors- teachers YOUR mind how THEY do it
5. Browse quotations
6. Listen to music
7. Listen to smart dialogue- it trains your brain to think conversationally
8. Talk to your readers
9. Close the door- not literally...but write your first draft with no outside opinions then revise with the "door open"
10. Find your joy
I love these! Some are more helpful than others but when it comes to writing for a blog that has no meaning other than for my own entertainment, I like number 1, 5, and 10! Enjoy :)
